Who I Am

I grew up in central London (UK). As a young adult, my experiences in the creative industries began with costume design and special effects makeup. But photography has always been with me. I often watched my dad transform one of the bathrooms in our home into a makeshift darkroom, so it seems like photography might be in my genes. ;)

In 2006, I relocated to the Dayton, Ohio metro area, and I’ve been based here ever since. Once I realized photography was going to be my future, I enrolled in the New York Institute of Photography, and upon graduating immediately launched my photography business. It’s the best of all possible creative worlds for me—combining my loves of photography, architecture, and design.

What I Do

I photograph architecture and interior spaces in Southwest Ohio. I’m fortunate that these jobs give me the chance to work with architects, interior designers, and property developers.

I thrive on the creative process and on building lasting relationships with my clients. If my work is above and beyond their expectations, then I know I’m achieving something worthwhile.

Why I Do What I Do

The quote below perfectly captures my philosophy as a photographer:

You don’t make a photograph just with a camera.
You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.
— Ansel Adams
